Foulweather Bluff Race is Next Weekend!

The Edmonds Corinthian Yacht Club will be holding its 31st annual Foulweather Bluff Race next weekend, October 1st.

This is a big race, put on by a small club. It's a great way to start out the fall racing season.

The race is from just north of the Edmonds ferry dock to Foulweather Bluff, and return via Scatchet Head

NFS and slower boats race to Pilot Point, Scatchet Head, and return.

I've been doublehanding this race with my daughter since she was 14. We always have fun, and we usually have plenty of wind.

That looks pretty benign wind speeds compared to here with it blowing over 30 pushing 40!

need to find the pics of the 3-4 blown mainsails crossing the finish, or the 2-3 with only a blade up.......such FUN!
