Yesterday was nasty, at one point Smith Island had sustained SE winds over 50kts. This must be the payback for a calm December I guess. Like Steve, we're having a hard time getting a weather window to make the run to town for groceries (hope the ferry made the run last night Steve). The good news is that Spring must not be too far off, the crocuses are already up in the flower beds:-))

Crocus's in late january.....mid february is more normal, but it can happen....some must have been poking thru the snow.....

That's right John, spring is out there somewhere and that's a good indicator. Crossing the strait now. Actually have clear skies and some sun.

Went to a job yesterday, here is what I was greeted with. Tree is gone now!






Now to go back and finish up, collect some of my tools etc. not sure how many more clients lost trees, drove by monday, all was good from the snow.......
