Friday Harbor to Quadra Island recent trip

I'll provide a link to my blog post about my recent trip from Friday Harbor to the Campbell River area. The post is pretty spare on details, but I would be happy to elaborate for anyone interested. I know for most this trip is standard fare, but I also know there are always many who are still new to cruising the Salish Sea. If nothing else, it gives some perspective on how long I took to move my boat that far.

The main excitement of the trip was at Cape Mudge, fighting a full 12 knot Seymour Narrows flood, that slows down to a paltry 9 knots off the Cape.

We go back soon for two more weeks up in the Discovery Island and Desolation Sound. Been looking forward to this all year
