Great video!! My wife and I used to take float planes into Rivers Inlet, Hakai Pass, Millbanke Sound, Langara Island and other places for over 25 years to go salmon fishing. Never fished the West Coast but the video was a good way to see some of it, many thanks.

Paul.. I grew up in Ocean Falls, so I know of where you speak.. amazing country up there too, but summer can be scarce!

Nice find Ron. It even takes a plane a long time to run out that coastline, and he didn't even go all the way to Barkley Sound! Good shot of Whiffen Spit at Sooke, just inside is where we anchor.

Right, We were in one of the worst rainstorms we have ever been in at Hakai Pass in the first week of August. I watched the whole video in full screen, almost as good as actually being there, thanks again for posting it, brought back a lot of good memories.

There were a number of those in a series.. I think it was 'Over British Columbia".. first shown either on PBS or our Knowledge network.
