Need a crew? 2 for the price of 1!

Hey fellow Northwesterners, here's the deal: My daughter is home from college for the summer (Univ. of Hawaii) and the two of us would like to do some sailing before she heads back. We had a blast on a little Flying Junior at Sand Point a couple weeks ago, and we're looking for an opportunity on something bigger, a daysail of even a 1 or 2 night cruise somewhere.

I've been keeping an eye on the Puget Sound Sailing Group Meetup, but such opportunities usually seem to fill up as they're posted. So I figure I'll give it a shot here!

I did a lot of sailing in my youth and somewhat know my way around a boat, but by no means skipper material. My daughter is new to sailing. But we're both hard workers, we take orders well, and we're up for any adventure!

So if anybody has a sail coming up and room for two more, drop me a line! Thanks

Welcome to Sailnet

There will be plenty of new events being posted on the PSSG website. There is an upcoming one that is not posted yet - that will be weekend after next. Originally I was going to make it Whidbey Island but may knock that to Edmonds as I plan on doing the spinnaker training course.

How long is she left in town for? It may be possible I can arrange a late afternoon / evening sail on mine

In case you missed the email:

There is a evening sail slated for next wed (re-occuring through mid sept).

Go ahead and reserve the spot and denote bringing guest. Hopefully that will get you out on the water

Evening Sail on the S/V "Hello Gorgeous" (Wed, Aug 13th, 6:30pm) - The Puget Sound Sailing Group (Seattle, WA) - Meetup.com

If you're ever in LA

Hey Billie,

If you ever decide to come down to LA you've got a couple of positions on my boat. My daughter just finished school and would probably love the company instead of just DAD. We are heading for Kaui this week but will be back by the 17th Good luck with your search.

Mark
