Sorry, you are absolutely correct; the linear moorage was on the north-west side of Blake Island.
In further Internet searching, I found a mention on the
Pacific Yachting website that the linear moorage at Blake Island had been removed for repairs, but that there was some question about when or if it was going to be reinstalled. Another web page of the Recreational Boating Association of Washington posted last year said that the State Parks department
planned to remove it summer 2007.
So I'm not too terribly out of date.
I hope that State Parks gets the linear moorage back in; it easily doubled the number of boats that could use that side of the island, and because of its massive helix
anchors could hold multiple rafted boats easily.
