Re: Pacific Seacraft 61?

I believe it's "Catari," a Bob Perry design that PS and Steve Brodie are/were custom building for a buyer in Annapolis. There was an article, including some design comments by Bob, in Blue Water Sailing about a year ago. Here's a link:

DESIGN REVIEW | PACIFIC SEACRAFT 61 | BLUE WATER SAILING MAGAZINE | CRUISING, SAILING, BOAT REVIEWS, GEAR, CHARTERING | 888.800.SAIL

Sure is a pretty boat. Anybody know if she has been launched yet?

Re: Pacific Seacraft 61?

I think it is still under construction. It's a real beauty and has some well thought out details( like a Crealock would) Remember when a 30 footer was big enough? Seems like 40 is a minimal cruiser and 50 is more common.

Roger is correct. If you want to read some posts from the owner as well as designer (B. Perry) - head over to Sailing Anarchy here. It's a popular thread with close to 80,000 views.

DROOL....
I think Megamillions would come up short for me on this one though.

"Rum Line" a 1982, S2 7.9 - Production boat limit tester, blue-water bucket owner, with wine taste on a beer budget.
