Cockpit shower placement in psc 37

Hi all,
We are considering fitting a cockpit shower. Can you please tell me where you normally put them?

Thanks, John.

John,
On our 34 the cockpit shower head is installed in the recessed box (aft end or left side as you look at it) under the cockpit winches. When stowed all you can see is the plastic cover. I have no complaints and it has worked very well for us.

Is the deep lazarette on the Port side of the 37 also. On the 34 that is where the hot and cold water is as well as electrical supply so it would be the logical side to install it.

If you want a simple cockpit shower that requires little modification, consider what we did.

We hook a threaded coupling to the pressure faucet in the galley sink to which a small diameter hose is attached. That hose has a shower head on the cockpit end. It is working great for us.

Wind Flower's cockpit shower was installed on the starboard side of the cockpit beside the Whale pump. Works well and allows for fresh water rinse while on the ladder.
