I bought from Defender and installed a ProMariner galvanic isolator last year. I mounted the isolator itself and the monitor electronics in space behind the overhead panel over the quarter berth where the original alternator regulator and system monitor electronics had been mounted. I mounted the monitor display over the electrical panel.
The monitor failed this spring while we were in the Bahamas. I returned it to ProMariner for warranty repairs and will reinstall it when I next return to the boat.
