Compression Post Question

Hi all,

I'm starting a restoration of an '86 PSC 37. I'm pretty sure the compression post has settled do to wetness. Anyone ever tackled this repair?

Jeff,

Thomas Wright, who owns (owned?) a Cruising Consultants Crealock 37, replaced his compression post and put together a very detailed write-up of the job. I seem to recall that he posted that write-up to the old Sailnet PSC e-mail list-serve. We have those archives around here somewhere... here you go:
