rack and pinion start dates or hull #'s

does anyone know when PSC started using the edson rack and pinion steering setup on the 34's and 37's ?

You might give the folks at the factory a shout, but ours is #359 and a 2000 model and it has the Whitlock geared steering setup (not Edson).

I know they are now building the boats with the Edson CDi units, which is what we saw on the PSC40 at the Annapolis boat show.

They're both great boats, for their intended purpose. We love our 37.

Not sure what part of the world you hail from but there's a PSC34 available for charter up in the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior from Superior Charters.

It was a boisterous weekend, but s/v Golden Sun took good care of us. That's when we decided to look for a PSC34 or PSC37.

Sounds like Bill B. in another thread is contemplating chartering out his PSC37 in the BVI's, so you may have chance to try both before deciding.
