Where have you put the pump for the wash down and how is it controlled? I don't have a windlass so no wiring in the bow yet. Where do you attach the hose for the wash down? Any more pictures?

Larry,
My boat also came with a Seagull filter on the galley foot pump, but I haven't been keeping a cartridge in it because I kept forgetting to remove it when winterizing, and it got saturated with antifreeze and ruined. Your testimonial makes me want to give it another try since the tank water always tastes like a garden hose, or worse. (expensive little cartridges though, even the off-brand ones).

One other washdown solution would be the new rule model RP280KR portable rechargeable pump system. This would work great for occasional use as a washdown on deck and can also multi-task as a transfer pump for antifreeze or diesel. Sells for about $100 bucks at WM.
