Vetus Muffler on 34

I have just discovered that my Vetus muffler is installed backwards. Not only does getting to it to reverse require a contortionist, but the hoses may no longer fit correctly. Does anyone know how big a a deal it is that this be installed in the right direction

If its no one thing, its another,
thanks
John

Partial answer to my own question

I was able to turn it around and the hose lengths still worked.

John--

On your yacht I'm guessing the Muffler is an LP50 or perhaps LP50S. The end with the adjustable nozzle is the "in" side. The fixed nozzle is discharge. The unit is designed to operate in that configuration and if installed incorrectly, the warranty is voided. For further information you can contact Vetus in the US at 321-454-3375.

FWIW...
