KodiakMike is on a distinguished road
origin of materials / builder's certificate

Hello there -

We're enmeshed in the none-too-fun process of importing our 1982 PS/Crealock 37 into Australia. Customs has asked us to prove that the majority of materials used in the boat were from the US in order to qualify for duty-free import under the US-Australia free trade agreement. Contacted the current owners of PS, but they don't have any records going back to the early 1980s.

So...does anyone out there have an early 1980s builder's certificate they could copy to me? Or does anyone know people who were involved in the company way back then and could help me with information about the materials used in the early 1980s?

Thanks for any help!

I have a copy of my certificate for a 1981 PS37. You can contact me at tom at seacraft dot com. All it says though is that the builder is Pacific Seacraft and its address. It does not detail out the percentage of materials that were sourced in the US. Tom
