Prop Size for Crealock 37 w Yanmar 4JHE

A couple of years ago I had to re-power Crazy Fish and replaced the Yanmar 4JHE that was originally installed on the boat in 89 with a new Yanmar 4JH4E.

The old engine generated 44 HP max and the new one generates 55 HP max. The factory currently is installing a 39 HP engine.

The boat is currently under-proped with its 3 bladed prop. I was wondering if anyone knows what the proper sized 3 bladed prop would be ?

And the boat needed to be re-powered when Baja Naval in Ensenada reinstalled the transmission (which had frozen) with the powerplate backwards. The engine ran but it put a lot of pressure on the engine bearings and after about 12 hours of total runtime the bearings seized.

Thanks
Marc Hall
