Splicing Double Braid

Dear folks,

Despite more than a few successful splices completed over the years, I've always found the written instructions for putting an eye splice in double braid to be Very Complicated. The video below, in contrast, is simple, straightforward, and easy to follow. In fact I now even get the basic principles! YeeHaa! As you can see in the picture the splice is great -- now just to remember to put in the hook!!!!!

I agree, somehow the written instructions didn't work for me, but once I saw the YouTube video, it was easy!
