Wood chips in the bilge pump exit hose

My bilge pump problem was solved when I found wood chips stuck in the exit hose at the siphon arch. These were probably left when I had someone replace the electric pump (subject of another thread) that feeds the racor when you turn the key on in some models of the PSC. The original pump was mounted on a board and the new pump had a different screw configuration. I'm guessing they whacked out the three chips that later stuck in the bilge pump exit hose (later) the darn rudder shaft packing leaked underway out in the Gulf.

One thing leads to another, I've heard.

Cool. Glad you found the issue before something bad happened.
