PSC 37 bow sprit

Dear Members,
Could you please comment on WHY the PSC 37 now has an enlarged bowsprit and the jib stay moved further forweard than the original Crealock 37 design ? Increasesd jib sq. footage? COF moved forward ? why? larger fordeck? bigger boat ? anchor platform removed from stem? copy Valient 42?
