Garmin Fishfinder

Has anyone tried one of the inside-the-hull transducers on a PSC ? We have a Garmin 545 that will accept sonar input and are considering installing a transducer up in the bow (no holes allowed). We've anchored in a lot of places with junk on the bottom and it would be nice to image what we're about to get tangled up in.
Thanks,
Sam

Yes, works fine, key is not to have any air bubbles, be extra careful when installing transducer.
