rigging whisker pole

I'm planning on rigging a whisker pole on my crealock 31. I already have the line driven car, should I rig the line drive 2:1 or 1:1. What cam cleats work best on the mast? Also I am planning on a 6' t-track mounted 2' off the deck, I have a high cut clew and want to make sure I can get the pole high enough. The pole will be stored on deck not on the mast.

1:1 on that boat, and just size your cam cleats for whatever line you're using. There's not much load on the cars up and down movement. It's a compression load.

I guess you could go 2:1 if it's not much of a price difference. But mostly just keep the track and car lubed, or use a plastic slider.

You can skip the cam cleats if you go with an Antal line driver setup:
