Pacific Seacraft Northeast Rendezvous 2012

Folks,

Bob Steneck (Alaria PSC34) up in Christmas Cove, ME and I have been discussing a Pacific Seacraft Northeast Rendezvous on Saturday July 21st in Christmas Cove, ME.

I've also been in contact with Pacific Seacraft and they are interested in supporting this rendezvous in some fashion.

We're still working on the details but at a minimum we're planning on a dinner @ the Coveside restaurant, a guest speaker, and if I can finagle it some door prizes.

The Coveside @ Christmas Cove has 17 moorings and it's possible to anchor in the cove as well.

I'll keep you posted as we have more details... but if you can make it by land/air/sea it would be great to see you there!

Bob

Bob,
That sounds like the time that we intend to be in Maine so if the gods are willing NiftyNickers will be there. We also attended the rendezvous in Christmas Cove in 1996 so it will be deja vous all over again.Sadly Mike Mitchell wont be there this time.

Re: Pacific Seacraft Northeast Rendezvous 2012

Actually I was inspired by my good friend Mike Mitchell to buy my PS 34 in part because of the wonderful rendezvous he used to hold in Christmas Cove.

I'm a marine biologist who's worked in the region since the mid 1970s so if there's interest I can explain a bit about the local oceanography, marine biology and history of the region.

I'm looking forward to the event and really appreciate Bob for taking the initiative.

We're planning on it.

I'm not sure how many folks will show up, but my wife, son and I will be there and we look forward to seeing you there too!

Unfortunately we have commitments that weekend so won't be able to make it. Really sorry not to meet everyone in person and share what I know will be a great time.
