Pacific Sea Craft 25 MK-I

I am looking at a PSC 25 that is listed as a MK-I. I can find "NO" information on a MK-I. MK-II yes, there is plenty of info. Can anyone help me out with info about is there something wrong with them because of lack of info or what.

Re: Pacific Sea Craft 25 MK-I

There's a Pacific Seacraft 25 owners' group on Yahoo that might be able to provide more info. My memory, hazy at best, is that the original 25 was designed by Henry Morschladt in the 1970s and was built somewhere other than Fullerton, CA, where production was moved sometime later (mid-eighties?) and where most of the later Crealock designs were built until Steve Brodie bought the company and moved production to the east coast in 2008. Sorry I don't know more about the actual construction of the boat...I'd try the Yahoo group.

Re: Pacific Sea Craft 25 MK-I

I owned a PS25 mark II. from what I understand the mark I is a different underbody design, fin keel, bow not as plumb, and outboard motor ( usually).
I LOVED my PS25, she was just as happy in 25 knots of wind as she was in 10. Big barn door rudder was nicely balanced, (my kitten would ride on it cause she always wanted me to hold her).
The perfect single hander for me.
I'm married and have the perfect double hander, a PS34
hope that helps, have you tried calling Pacific Seacraft?
