Policy on Buy/Sell Posts

I understand that you can't post things about buying/selling stuff on this forum... which is fine... that's how Sailnet is making money to suppor the forum.

However... I would suggest periodically checking the buy/sell forum on www.pacificseacraftowners.org... some owners are putting boats or other gear up for sale.

Fair winds!

Re: Policy on Buy/Sell Posts

Bob,

That depends on the type of advert.

Yes ... commercial advertising is not allowed for obvious reasons.

but

There is a classified section for members to offer used gear for sale ..

Main Index - Sailnet Classifieds

and for members of 12 months standing and/or a minimum of 50 posts there is the Boat Buying/Selling forum ....

Boat Buyers & Sellers Forum - SailNet Community

Re: Policy on Buy/Sell Posts

Thanks for the links and info about Sailnet's buy/sell policy.

One nice thing about the link I put above is that it's really just for PSC owners...
