Galley Storage - Crealock 37

We are learning that there just isn't enough storage in the galley on Lagniappe our '98 Crealock 37. We are interested in adding cabinets or shelving over the sink as well as storage along the starboard bulkhead. Before we start cutting wood and trying to come up with something we'd like to have an idea of what works nad looks good as opposed to the other alternatives.... Anyone have suggestions or photos of how this can be done?

On Crazy Fish we have the optional Pacific Seacraft installed cabinet over the galley sink island. Seems to work well, all of the dishes and glasses are stored there. I would contact Thumper at Pacific Seacraft and see if they could supply you a prebuilt cabinet and stainless support pole.

Might also look at a set of nesting pots and pans to reduce your storage requirements. Bought the ones on Crazy Fish from Cusinart the same year we took delivery of Crazy Fish and they are still working great.

As the boat is geared up for its next set of adventures we are also looking at collapsible bowls. I have seen them at REI for use on camping trips but I know I have seen them elsewhere in more mainstream cooking supply places.

I had the same box above the sink (made by PO). I removed it due to complains by the galley operators. It is a head banger under rough seas.
