I'm Impressed

I bought my PSC 37 late last fall without even taking it out of the harbor.

Over the winter I emailed Thumper and told him I was going to replace the staysail the PO had removed, along with the stay and furler. I asked him for some dimensions, he countered with "Would you like me to put a kit together including a sail?" Hell yes, you guys built it, you know what it needs.

The staysail kit arrived a few weeks ago, been waiting for some snow to melt and weather to warm a bit. I've scheduled riggers to install the stay and furler (no riggers locally, club brings them up each spring) in mid May.

Yesterday I get an email from Thumper saying "call me, need to talk about the staysail kit". Uh oh!!

Talked to him this morning, he told me he had just made a kit up for a 1998 PSC 37 and had run into a problem with the toggle not fitting the deck hardware, a longer toggle was needed. He had already sent a new toggle to me "just in case" I ran into the same issue.

Wow, now that is customer service!!!!
