Crealock 37 question

New to this forum, hope I am doing this correctly. I am looking at a PSC 37 for potential purchase. I would think there is storage under the mattress in the quarterberth, but when I look there the board is screwed down and sealed with silicone? anyone familiar with a crealock 37 and what is under the quarterberth?

Re: Crealock 37 question

Hanktoo,
The area under the quarter berth is the aft fresh water tank. It is part of the fiberglass liner. There is also a similar forward water tank under the berth in the forward cabin.

Re: Crealock 37 question

thanks, thought it just might be empty for storage.
Isn't is still unusual for someone to seal it?

What you're seeing is the top of the water tank. If it wasn't sealed it would leak.
