Black Box

I have a Pearson 34 bought recently. I do not have technical information and I need some help to identify the upper box (in red circle) due to the yacht was received without it.
Regards

Re: Black Box

Welcome Rigel. You'll get more responses if you post that in one of the other forums, not here in Introductions. That being said, the black box appears to me to be a battery charger. One was probably never installed on your boat, or at least not in that location, that's why you don't see it.

Re: Black Box

Many thank for your response. I will try in another Forum. With respect to my question, the yacht originally had installed this "black box". May be a battery charger or regulator voltage to charge the batteries.

Regards.

Re: Black Box

Now I'm confused. So the picture was of your boat before you took ownership? That is, the battery charger was there when you toured/surveyed the boat, but it isn't there now?

Re: Black Box

Dear Jim,
This "black box" was there previously to be the new owner. I bought this yacht thru a broker in USA and after it was transported to Chile. Previously I received some photos of the yacht and one of them - specifically the propulsion system - had this box but it did not arrived to Chile.
Regards
