Deck receiver plate Pearson 30

I removed the deck receiver plate on my P30 to modify the conduit. The receiver plate (MM7845M-2DPR) mates with the domed mast step plug, MM7845M-2DP. I noticed a slight angle to the teardrop dish in the receiver plate, after the fact. It's approximately 2 degrees. How should it be oriented on re-install, high side fore or aft? I measured the parts and have an idea how it should go, but I want to be sure.

Yikes, good question. As a P30 owner, I'm familiar with the parts that you have described, but I cannot answer your question. I'm sending you a PM.
