Question Idle adjustment (much to high) Help

My 2gm20f is idling at 1500 rpm. I looked at where the cable linkage attaches to the motor
and can find nowhere to adjust the cable. It it done at the "top" of the cable where it meets
the lever at the wheel? Does one change where the out part of the cable is attached to the
motor?

Help, reading the manual hasn't help.

Thank you

Yanmar

The idle speed on the 2GM20F is adjusted at the motor. There is a stop bolt at the throttle lever on the injector pump. Loosen the cable clamp at this point, back off on the stop bolt till the rpm is correct, then reattach the cable.

Regards,
Dan
