The fitting on the top of the rudder post broke -- one of the flanges that holds the bolt that secures the tiller fractured. Does anyone know where to get a new fitting to replace it? Thanks --
Well, you have a couple of options. 1. I have a spare from a 1979 P-30 in excellent condition. 2. D&R Marine in Assonet, MA can have one milled for you from bronze ( I had one made when my original, from a '74 P-30 failed, $350).
