My family and I have enjoyed sailing our 1980 model 26ft Pearson since 1997. It is novice friendly, stable and sleeps two adults and three children comfortably. It needs some attention. The keel bolts are starting to show some rust, the wiring is in disarray, the instruments don’t work and the rudder bushing should be replaced. Nothing that a handyman couldn’t fix but I’m not handy.
The 2000 model 9.9 hp, electric start, four-stroke Honda outboard is excellent; never a hiccup. I don’t think the boat has ever seen salt water and is rigged heavier than a 25ft Catalina. This boat has great potential! $3250
