pearsonpage is on a distinguished road
p-30

Has any one had their pearson P-30 in gale force winds or large breaking seas? Was curious how tough they are?
I've been in 9 foot, steep waves in 35 knots of wind on Lake Huron, and my P-30 with furled head sail(only), behaved very well on a beam reach. I havn't been in following seas of any size but about 5 feet, and It seemed to wallow with full head sail and 18 K of wind. I'm sure I didn't have it balaced without the main up and reefed. any thoughts or comments? thanks jp
