Pearson 33-2 WANTED!

It's terrible being boatless. I just sold my Catalina 25 and I am looking for Pearson 33-2. I am in central NY and a freshwater boat is preferred. Any leads or tips on what to look for in a 33-2 are appreciated. Thanks!!

Brian -- You obviously are a man with very discriminating tastes. You have selected a great boat! I have owned hull #146 for 3 years, so yes, I am biased. I suggest posting this message on the Pearson email list here on Sailnet because that list gets tons more traffic than the BB. Otherwise, keep an eye on Yachtworld. Not sure how many 33-2's have lived in fresh water, and only about 165 or so were made before Pearson went belly up. I do know of a 1986 model for sale here on the Chesapeake that was a fresh water boat until about 3 years ago. I know the lady who owns that one (she is moving to a one-design for racing). It is listed on Yachtworld, but if you want the direct contact info send me a PM.

Also check here for the unofficial P-33-2 website: http://home.columbus.rr.com/wpkweb/Pearson_33_2.htm

Thanks Mitch, yes I'll move this over to the email list. I'm new to Sailnet - previous life was on the Catalina 25 org website. I did contact Annapolis Yacht Sales about their P33-2 and I thought they said they had an offer pending. I'll check back with them. I appreciate your help.
