Pearson 26 rudder

Hey everybody! I lost the rudder on my P 26 last October (at the bottom of the Chesapeake) and need to replace it for the upcoming season. Any ideas where I could find one? Thanks,
Rob

SailorMitch will become famous soon enough
The best place to start is www.pearsoninfo.net. That is THE Pearson website, and also happens to be the product of one Dan Pfeiffer, who used to own a P-26. Dan's site will have the info since he has a whole section devoted to the P-26. Also, check this site for a link to D&R up in Mass. They bought a bunch of Pearson parts and some molds when the original Pearson went out of business.

New P26 rudder

I have seen two places to buy a new rudder from. One is D&R marine (www.drmarine.com/) and the other is Foss Foam (www.newrudders.com)
Good luck
Mike

I replaced my P26 rudder with one from D&R about 2 yrs. ago, seems well made and the Pearson list mavens with experience recommended them over Foss. Not inexpensive but you gotta have one.
