Pearson Flyer 30: "Oil Canning"?

Hello,

I am looking into getting a PF30, but a relative (and lifetime sailor) of mine told me that they have a problem "oil canning" (bending and warping) around the mast step on the keel and deck.

Has anyone heard of, or seen this? If so is there a fix?

Or is this BS and my Brother-in-law dosn't want to see me run circles around his Morgan.

N/N,
Flyers do not oilcan. They are almost a clone of the J30, only better. Go to Yahoo Group pearsonflyer to learn all about it from owners. Mine is #76 and I love it. Fast and friendly, no bad habits.
