Maybe a new pearson owner

Hello,

I am considering purchasing a 1973 pearson 26. I thought I would ask a couple of questions.

Has anyone purchased a trailer for this boat? What was the cost? I consider a trailer just to offset winter storage cost, not to trailer the boat long distances.

I do have some request's in for trailer pricing so I should find that out soon enough.

Has anyone built or is a mast raising system available for this boat? I made one for a mac 25 that I currently own. It works pretty well as the boat is made to be stepped by hand. I am unsure of the pearson's mast weight and the connection etc..

Thanks for any help.

SailorMitch will become famous soon enough
check out Pearson Information site. Fellow named Dan Pfeiffer started and maintains that site. he owned a P-26 for years and has a ton of info there on the boat. send him an email if nothing else.
