Re-powering a Pearson 323 with Beta Marine

I'm considering replacing my Volvo MD11C with a Beta Marine 25 or 28 HP engine. Are there any 323 owners out there that have re-powered with a Beta Marine engine?

If an answer is not forthcoming here, you should post the same question to the Pearson groups at Yahoo! and Google.

I think the Google group has more activity.
