If I recall, the guy who ran the site wanted to sell it and the information. Most folks felt that all of the info is available elsewhere on the net. He must of shut it down.

I only discovered this thread today (12-1-10) but OasisII has it quite wrong. I have never tried to sell the site or any of the info on pearsoninfo.net. I don't recall what caused any outage in March but it was probably a tech glitch of some sort and was fixed. But now the site is offline again because the ISP expired without notice for renewal and the domain is effectively being held hostage for $250. I'll try to get it back on line under some other domain soon if I can't recover pearsoninfo.net.

We should all check our facts before posting. OasisII is probably confusing my site with the old pearson current site from the NPYOA which is now defunct.

Yes, Dan, I think he is confusing it with Pearson Current. As I recall, when that site went down there was a lot of talk on the Pearson group message boards about the owner wanting to sell the whole thing. Too bad - he closed it just after we bought our P303, and the few print copies of the Pearson Current that came with our boat had some great info. Anyway, thanks very much for all you do for Pearson owners with your website - I've used it many times for reference as the systems on a lot of the Pearsons are identical. Maybe it is time to put a donation link somewhere so we can also contribute to the overhead?

If you want somewhere to host the site while you sort things out I can offer up a subfolder on one of my domains for your use. The domain name will not have anything to do with pearson, but at least you will have somewhere to direct people who want to see the material.

Apparently the owner of that domain name (PearsonInfo.net) has not paid the bill and ownership has lapsed. Maybe it will show up someplace else in the future. Would be nice if someone could get the data to host it elsewhere.
