Unhappy Pearson 33-2 mylar tri-radial 150 for sale!

I purchased a "new" (used twice, for a total of six nautical miles) mylar 150 that I planned to race on my Ranger 33. This sail according to Doyle Sails was made for a PEARSON 33-2. I checked out the rig dimensions for a Pearson 33 before the purchase and that would have fit. Yesterday, I went to the boat (first race of the year) and the sail is at least two feet too long !
I would like to find it a new home.

May be worth your while to have it cut down to fit... good "new" used sails are hard to find. Might cost another $2-300 to have it done....

I just got home from the sailmaker's loft, he said that because of it's construction,"tri-radial" and material (mylar) it would be imposible to cut it down without ruining it : (. It's a beautiful sail which the previous owner paid around $3,000 for but is of no use to me.

Dave,

I am assuming this is a jib. How much are you asking for the sail? BTW, which dimension was 2 feet too long for your boat? The foot? Also, where are you located?

Feel free to PM me. Thanks.

Dave,

Thanks for the pics. I can make out from the last one that the luff is 43.4' and the foot is 20.3'. Please PM me the price that you would like to sell it for. Thanks.

price?

If I put the sail up on ebay, I will start the bidding at $500 and see what happens. The sail is new, but I can't use it on my boat. It is offered here first.

Do you still have the mylar sail for the P-33

Hi, I own a Pearson 33-2 and was wondering if you still have the sail or if you've already moved it on Ebay ?

Cheers,
Scotty
