Calling all Pearson 34 Owners

I'm narrowing down my boat search and very seriously considering purchasing a mid 1980's version of the Pearson 34 with a centerboard. I have been on one example so far so I have a feel for the layout, etc.

I would appreciate hearing from the owners of Pearson 34's about their experience in owning/sailing the boat. What are the pros and cons of this model? What do you particularly like and dislike? Are there any particular construction flaws to this model or specific things to pay attention to when purchasing this model?

How are your experiences with single-handing the boat? How about docking it, particularly short-handed or solo?
