Another New Pearson Owner Question

Hi All,

Bought my first p26 last month and am working on getting it shined up. In the cockpit there is what i think is an area for a handle attachment for a manual bilge pump. Does anyone have any idea what brand this could be or what handle I would need to operate it?

It looks similar to the Whale Gusher pump on my P30. I would just measure the inner diameter of the socket and find a rod that fits. Or you could get the spare part from Whale.

Be sure to check that it actually works and that the rubber bellows hasn't dry-rotted. We had to replace the one on our 1986 P303 and the new one works perfectly.

The PO of the P26 I bought had used a broom handle or toilet bowl plunger handle to operate the manual bilge pump.
