Restoring a Commander

Hello,
I recently acquired a Pearson Commander. Hull #307. Got her at auction from the marina for $1. Anyway here she is my first boat.

Did you see David Hasselhoff or was KITT just waiting for him to come back from sailing?

Congrats on your purchase, looks like you have a project ahead of you!

Who is staring at the sea is already sailing a little.

Awesome! Did you get a mast? Take lots of picture for your before and after.

I have the mast, sails, and all the standing rigging. I will be documenting the whole process of restoring her. I'll be sure to post updates here, and on my blog

CalebD will become famous soon enough
My boat is a slightly bigger cousin then yours (Tartan 27) and yours is a bigger version of an Ensign with a wonderful dog house roof. I've seen a few Pearson 26's and they remind me a lot of my boat.
I'd guess that this will be your boat under sail one day soon: Pearson Commander 26 sailboat for sale
Keep posting.

The ad for Commander above is the lake I keep my Pearson 26 One Design on. I noticed the Commander sold in April. I haven't seen it on the lake so it must have been moved somewhere else. Here's mine...
