Pearson 26 Stern Rail

Does anyone know the demensions for a P26 stern rail. I'm trying to find one however the gentleman from massmarineparts.com said there are none in his yard. However, he might be able to find one if I give him the demensions. As I'm not able to get out to my boat to measure myself, I'd appreciate any help!

Thanks!

I would be happy to measure mine..except my 26 doesn't have a stern rail either..nor do I have stanchions and lifelines. At one point I was going to add both, but decided to rig everything to the cockpit for single handing so I can stay off the deck when things get ugly.

DR marine sells a replacement (see link below). They may even have a dimensional print that they could send you. They've been very helpful in my dealings with them. I know I've found another website that sells replacements but haven't been able to track it down.

I have a stern rail on my p26 but it was damaged at some point in it's history and was repaired with welded stainless tube sections and rebed, the result being is it is not symmetrical so the dimensions may not be very useful. I'm looking to replace it after next season so if you do find something, please let us know.

P26 Stern Rail

...of course I'd also be interested in the dimensions, too. I do have the ability/ facility to make a stern rail.

I didn't realize that Rudy has stern rails at D&R... my '76 P26 never had one and I'd like to, though I don't really have the time/setup to set it up for marking and installation right now.... has anyone bought one from D&R and installed it on a boat that didn't have the already-drilled mounting holes from a previous one?

Thanks,
Jon
