Waterpump replacement - Pearson 26

My sink has never worked on my 1977 Pearson 26 since I bought her last year. I was wondering if anyone had ever replaced the pump and knew the best part to use and could offer any advice.

Assuming your pump is electric then any fresh water pump will do. If it's just for the sink then get the smallest one you can. Even then you will get way more water than you need to just wash your hands. Filling a pot might take a minute, but hey... the girl is used to waiting, right?
