Pearson 365 v-berth?

Looking for my "next boat" and considering the Pearson 365. Haven't had a chance to actually climb on-board one yet, but read a review that said the v-berth was too short for anyone at or over 6' tall. Any truth to that?

Re: Pearson 365 v-berth?

My friend has one, he's 6'3 - he sleeps on a settee, his wife sleeps in the v-berth.
I've been aboard it but not of course crawled into the v-berth.

Re: Pearson 365 v-berth?

I have a 365 and I'm 6'3" and I have plenty of room in all berths. Whoever said that about the V-berth was totally mistaken. In fact I took a queen size memory foam mattress, trimmed the corners at the pointy end and flipped the corners to the wide end of the v because it is wider than a queen size bed, and made the most comfortable sleep space imaginable. Love to sleep on Sea Chelles. It has full standing headroom for me, it goes in skinny water and under intracoastal 50' bridges. Motion comfort excellent. Tough as nails. Love my 365 ketch.
