SloopJonB will become famous soon enough
Leave it to the Brits to do it right - they've been dealing with pirates for hundreds of years.

I noticed that the accuracy of their "warning shots" has deteriorated somewhat.

IMHO, those a$$holes should get ONE warning burst - the next ones should go into the boat.

sadly us Brits have been pirates for hundreds of years

governement sanctioned pirates at that

If anyone would enjoy reading how and where the piracy in that part of the world began, I suggest reading To the shores of Tripoli: the birth of the U.S. Navy and Marines - Addison Beecher Colvin Whipple - Google Books

Exactly, you did THAT right as well. If you have paperwork, you ain't a pirate.

Actually, I believe that qualifies you as one of the WOGS - Working On Government Service.

I'm with SloopJonB on this, one warning is sufficient as far as I'm concerned. After that, the story would be reporting the number of injuries and that the boat was sunk.

Damn! The Brits missed. I can't believe that one that sails would find anything good in the pirates. Sink a few of them every now and then and the problem would go away. Just my 2 cents.

This is one place where I would certainly support some of our forced being deployed to.

Ivan does it best. Handcuff the dirtballs to their boat, blow it up & watch it sink.
