South Africans freed by Somalis after 20 months

BBC News - South Africa couple freed from Somali pirates

Friends at the yacht club here were crewing another friend's boat to South Africa, sailing down the coast of Tanzania and were taken by Somali pirates. Finally freed- not sure exactly how. Their live-aboard cat is still here at the club waiting for them to come back. Amazing that they are ok. We still don't sail very far from Dar es Salaam these days, just to Zanzibar and back, since the pirates are still around.

Thought it might be nice to hear some good news for a change!
