McCain Plane Still Flying - The Caucus - Politics - New York Times Blog

Cindy McCain's jet is still being used for campaign purposes but the campaign isnt paying for it. This is a violation of McCain's own campaign finance law.

Why submit to a system that McCain only pays lip service to?

You really should reread what I wrote. Perhaps you suffer from being overwrought. I didnt say you said it. I said you seemed to think someone else did. Perhaps I wasnt clear enough but I have never heard anyone on either side claim the supremes were bought off. Your post is the first time I ever even heard a mention of the very idea.

BY the way. Jack Abramoff is in jail for (among other things) doing what Cindy McCain and John are doing with her jet - "forgetting" to charge the campaign for its use. Seems like they better get right on that!!

sck ...check wiki and ALL the full recount studies. The vast majority of studies found Bush the true winner when all the votes were counted under various strictness scenarios. Only one independent study found Gore won by 3 votes and even that scenario was disclaimed by the author as being within the margin of human error in re-counting. That scenario counted over votes...where a ballot counted twice electronically was counted twice in the re-count. Time to put this one to bed. It ain't gonna change anything and the preponderance of the evidence from truly independent sources suggests Bush won a narrow victory.
More important will be how big McCain wins in Florida this time...Charlie Crisps semi-flip today on offshore drilling has me thinking he is gonna be McCain's VP.

Wouldn't you think that if he was selected as McCain's running mate under these circumstances it would look as though he were selling out the west coast of Florida in exchange for a place on the ticket?

I am with PB on this one. Sck5, where in the article you linked did it say McCain was not paying. It said he was paying less then market rates and his wife will have to make up the difference. Thats a Long way from not "forgetting to charge."

Hawg...I know. But I can't explain a Florida governor doing this for any other reason. Maybe he is just a principled citizen who believes in doing what is right for the country rather than pandering to the voters of Florida! ......

You notice, rather than speak to my post about Obama, he instead tries to attack McCain.
