If memory serves, the price tag on Obamacare was in the neighborhood of 875 billion. Not to mention the increased spending for his Afghanistan build-up.

ok, so if you would rather spend our few available dollars on a neverending quagmire in Iraq then vote for that. I would rather at least TRY to improve our ridiculous health insurance industry - Every other industrialized country in the world has better results than we do and they pay half as much. But the republicans somehow assume that fixing our system will cost rather than save money. That is because they only count money spent by the government and not by individuals. By any rational accounting, getting better results with half the money would be regarded as a savings rather than an expenditure.

Or do you think we are incapable of doing it as well as, say, the French? I would like to think we could improve on their system but we sure as hell wont do it as long as we have Republicans in office who insist on letting insurance companies write the legislation.

Media for Obama? Just wait until they start actually covering McCain's almost daily misstatements. Or his lying advertisements ("Obama responsible for $4 gasoline!!" give me a break) Or maybe they wont because after all, McCain has repeatedly called the media "my base"

Now it may be that in my ignorance I am comparing apples to oranges but that seems a bit more expensive than Obama' $875 billion.

1. Obama is a very intelligent guy

So was Hitler, Karl Max, Stalin

2. Obama has consistently said he will get us out of Iraq

So has everyone, the difference is the damage he will cause to both the US and Iraq when he does it prematurely

3. Obama has consistently said that health insurance reform is a top priority
Socilized medicine is a failure in countries that have it

4. Obama clearly is more worried about the environment than Republicans are.

Don't confuse his concern for the environment with his goal for globalism and socialism

5. Obama clearly is able to get other countries to follow his lead whereas Bush and I suspect McCain have (or will) alienated them all to the point where we are no longer the leader of the free world for the simple reason that nobody wants to follow us any more. Getting others to do what we want them to is an important talent in a President and one which Bush lacks entirely. (unless he bombs them)

Please list our allies that have or will in the future turn their back on us when and if McCain is Prez

6. I trust Obama to pick judges that are worthy of their posts and are not right wing ideologues.

What judges has Bush nominated ( and the Dem congress approved ) that have right wing ideologies, or are you insinuating that upholding the Constitution is a right wing ideology, where liberials will nominate judges that will intrupret the every changing living Constitution to fit their needs ??
