Good Point Chuckles...... Racism is a TWO way street.... I seen the same in the military service as well as in other places.... Just think about this...

Associates with a known terrorist who still praises bombing US Buildings...

Associates with a Pastor who makes anti american comments, sexist comments about white women.. Anti Isreal as well as Anti Jewish American comments... Associates with a radical pastor like Louis farechan (sp)..

Would black people vote for a person who:

Hangs out with a known member of the KKK and makes racist remarks?

Hangs out with someone who bombed / killed black people and openly stated he has no regrets?

Seems to me an obvious answer....

Now, Since 95% of black voters voted for someone on the basis of his race and not for other Dems on basis of them being white...

This white person will reciprocate and also vote on basis of skin color identity.

By the way, did you see Juan Williams on Fox News Monday night- He was going on how this was so historic and special for "black" people to actually see a family where kids have a mommy and a daddy...lmao... As if this should even be an issue for a president....

PS... If McCain had half a brain He would pick Congressman Kantor A Jewish American and go after Jewish voters in Democrat states... Either of those two women Meg Whitman or Carly Fiorna who also have economic experience would be a great choice... It is kind of nice to see the Democratic Party Throw the Clintons away as a piece of Garbage- since its what they have done to people around them over thier years.... You just know the Clintons are FURIOUS that some young inexperienced Black Guy took the party nomination away from the Annointed one 'Hillary"... Not to mention over HALF the clinton administration came out for Obama- lol.... Hillary is like a hemrrhoid... A real pain in the a s s that will not go away... 1) my main goal in this thread is to keep the neocons honest. All of you run around in the same pack (safety in numbers) and have your way with the "Dems/LIbs" (defined as anyone who disagrees with even one item in the conservative ideology), so I, as an independent and a moderate strive to level the rhetoric playing field.

2) Please find my post where I have said I favor Obama. Such a post does not exist. What I have said is that we have 2 very Bad choices, and my preference is to vote for None of the Above. I have been critical of both candidates and the campaigns they are running.

3) I have chuckled to myself several times about the scene on the steps of the Capital next JAN. 20th when Obama, should he win, takes the oath of office with his full name.

While you are thinking, consider that it is likely that they know which party likes them and works for their interests and which party doesnt.

And sailormon, you are absolutely correct that the Democratic party used to be the home of southern racist whites. The point is that the Southern Strategy was explicitly formulated to win all those guys over to the Republican side. It worked. Though the ranks of the racists are probably dwindling year by year you shouldnt be surprised that most people know this history perfectly well.
